Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

The short version: we never sell your data, we show no ads, parents see progress — never their student’s conversations (with one safety exception), and camera video is never stored. Greetly exists to teach your kid, not to monetize them.

1. What we collect

2. What we deliberately do NOT do

3. What parents can see

Parents see progress: weekly recap emails, roadmap status, and deadline heads-ups — not their student’s conversations. The single exception is safety: if a conversation suggests risk of harm to the student, a trusted adult can be alerted. That is the only circumstance in which conversation content is escalated, and it exists to protect students.

4. AI processing and service providers

Greetly is built on trusted infrastructure and AI providers that process data on our behalf to deliver features: AI model providers (such as OpenAI and Google) power conversations, voice, and tutoring; hosting and database providers (such as Vercel and Neon) run the Service; an email provider (Resend) delivers our emails. These providers process your data under their commercial terms, which do not permit using our API data to train their general-purpose models. We share only what is needed to operate each feature.

5. Children’s privacy

6. Voice and camera details

Voice sessions are transcribed so Greetly can remember what you worked on across sessions — transcripts feed the same running summary as text chat. Audio itself is processed in real time by our AI voice provider and is not retained by Greetly as recordings. Camera frames are analyzed in the moment and never stored, and any in-the-moment reading of engagement or mood is used only to adapt teaching in that session — never stored, profiled, or reported.

7. When we share information

Beyond the service providers above: if required by law or valid legal process; to protect the safety of a student (Section 3); or as part of a business transition (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data). That’s the complete list.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active so Greetly can keep teaching with full context. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing ash@aruni.ai; we will delete it within 30 days except where law requires retention.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to know how it is shared. Exercise any of these by emailing us — we honor these requests for all users regardless of location, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising them. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and secret-management practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here, update the date above, and make reasonable efforts to notify account holders before the changes take effect.
